My husband and I had a wonderful stay here at the end of March. We had originally booked different lodging, which upon our arrival ended up being very suboptimal. The Inn on Mount Desert thankfully had one more king room available, and they took us same-day. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and clean (and had a great TV). The Inn's common areas were inviting, well-decorated, and well-kept. The staff provided detailed recommendations for off-season hiking and dining. Their hospitality shone through in their breakfast service each morning and homemade baked goods each afternoon. Would highly recommend!

This is my secret get away spot. Whenever I need to get away from the city I book a room here and am never disappointed. Nice and close to the park and in an area that has stuff to do walking distance from it year round. The breakfast is always awesome and a step above the normal hotel breakfast. Jesse, Connor, Elizabeth, and everyone alts have been pleasure to interact with. I cant wait to go back again!
Rooms: Clean and comfortable
Walkability: Very close to downtown. I leave my vehicle and get dinner downtown at night and coffee in the morning

How can I begin? It is moe than I thought it would be. First and foremost, when checking in i felt at home, friendly, welcoming, explained everything with details and even refer us to a great place we could have dinner at. Rooms are amazing and they all come with a special name, mine was sheep porcupine . They have a pool table and exercise equipment as well. I was completely impressed with everything. First time here and I am sure it wont be the last!

Stayed here for 3 nights at this lovely inn and as one of the only hotels in the area open during this season, the accommodations exceeded my expectations. Our primary reason for staying was to check out Acadia NP (and we were fully aware it was during the off season). The park is only a short drive away from here (~5-30 min, depending on which area of the park you plan to visit). Although the shuttle is not in service, we were able to get around with our rental car, as we were coming from Boston. It is also just a few blocks away from the main strip with all the shops and restaurants (easily a 5-15 min walk). Service is great, front desk is always ready to answer your questions and address concerns, breakfast service is in the AM which includes 2 options of freshly made dishes or you can opt for a quick breakfast (toast, muffins, cereal, etc.). Our room was quite cozy and included a mini fridge, microwave, separate sink outside of the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable - not too firm, not too soft. I was able to get solid sleep every night without having to worry too much about noise through the walls. They also have a laundry room and a lounge/fitness area that has a pool table, 2 spin bikes, an elliptical and some free weights (as well as yoga mats). Overall, I would 100% come back to this inn if I ever get the chance to return to the area and definitely recommend others to stay here as well.
