        Booked a car online from Australia. Booked it using my credit card but in my husbands name as I am not comfortable driving in the US. My credit card was accepted and the booking made. Surprise, surprise, when we collect the car was told that because booking was made with my card, I would have to be the primary driver, but, heres the rub, we could add my husband as a secondary driver for an additional $12.50 per day. Absolute rip-off and total misrepresentation. Disgraceful. Never again Hertz!

        NEVER book here. They allow overbooking even if theres no inventory, and they dont bother to let customers know it until reaching the counter after waiting in line for 30 min
