image When I picked up my rental, I was given a 2018 Kia Soul that did not have working Bluetooth. Not only do I not consider this to be a midsize car like I paid for, but also the employee at the checkout counter seemed upset that requested another vehicle due to the Bluetooth issues. I was given another midsize car and went on my way.
I filled the gas tank right before returning my car and was told I would be emailed a receipt. The receipt I did get had an additional $74 charge for refueling, even though I returned the car full. I called this location and was told it was a "computer error" and sent another updated receipt without the $74 charge. Somehow, even with the new receipt, my credit card was still charged the extra amount, which I am currently disputing with my credit card company.
I was incredibly disappointed in the service I received and won't be using this Hertz location again. It's a shame, because Hertz has given me great customer service at other locations during previous rental experiences.

image Rented a van to pickup on Saturday & prepaid for entire week.
Place was closed when flight came in. Came back on Monday at 8AM (as soon as they opened) - < 1 business hour between time of prepaid reservation & rental.
Guy behind the counter told me he couldn't help me as he gave another guy the sprinter van I had rented. Made me call Hertz number & said they could help me.
On the phone for half an hour in their office, and of course Hertz customer service couldn't help me & told me to call Expedia.
1 - Guys behind the counter are unwilling to interface with corporate & force you to.
2 - They don't understand how the process works - Hertz customer service can't help you.
3 - If you are 1 business hour late to pick up your rental (Rent at noon, show up right after closing, show up first thing next morning) they will rent it out from underneath you, even if you've prepaid.
Business practice borders on fraudulent, reps don't understand how their own company works, send you off to a call center who's job it is to waste your time till you go away.

image Rented a van. When he brought it around he told me that the light for the tires was on but the tires were good. He mention they didn't want to pay for the light to be services. I said fine because i needed to go to work. I got in and noticed the gear shift knob was missing. Got on the freeway, the van was not aligned. It was pulling to the right. The van was trembling at 70mph. The sliding door has a huge Crack down the side. It was dirty and had not been washed. The truck has not been serviced. The vehicle was not only dirty, it had no window washer fluid so i could clean the filthy window. I'm stuck with the vehicle for a whole extra day because the are closed Sundays and i can't even exchange the vehicle. I do not feel safe driving this. I worked for an autostore for several years. If the tires were serviced the vehicle would have been aligned. It's pointless to leave a review i noticed they only send generic responses. Please remember to always read reviews. I have learned my lesson.
