Terrible customer service. Not at all what Avis promised when they assigned me to pick up a car here as part of roadside assistance. The "comparable" car they gave me was smaller and they refused to give me anything else in the lot. What they gave me smelled and was dirty. The seats look like they killed a goat and let the blood dried out all over it. I had to call Avis to exchange in another location. What a disaster.

The 2 ladies holding the branch didnt want to help us as we needed to make a car exchange so I wont recommend it. Fortunately weve found another branch in Westport much more helpful!

I've been renting consistently every week with avis.. Between stratford and Laguardia airport... This last week something went wrong with avis system itself... i was charged twice on my credit card and twice on my debit card around $2600.. The location had nothing too do with it.. STRATFORD LOCATION IS NOT A BAD LOCATION. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MET WITH COURTESY FROM EACH PERSON BEHIND THE DESK. I was just in there yesterday amd they printing system went down. I checked a car in and check a car out.. The check out automatically sent a email.. As I was there it was 3 other customers that where checking out. It was a male customer there that seemed too understand a email will be sent. HE SEEM TOO INSIST ON TAKING PICTURES AND OTHER WEIRD THINGS TOO PROVE HE CAME TOO THE LOCATION. He was rude and I even suggested for him too open his email amd confirm that the car was checked in like I did.. If you want respect you have too give it.. You can't speak too staff like trash amd then expect them too be okay with it.

Make sure you take pictures of the car damage and have it documented with AVIS BEFORE driving away. Once I was almost charged for damages I did not cause. The only reason I was not charged is because the previous renter admitted to causing them. Life lesson learned.
