We used to go up here as kids. It was referred to Hartley Hill in those days. Both the rock and the views are very nice.

Was looking for a public place to overlook Lake Superior. It is clear the trees have necessarily made this spot more or less obsolete.

A very unusual but interesting monument, I would have never known that Duluth had the first concrete pavement in Minnesota. Beautiful garden here!
