Simple, fast and easy check-in process to receive vehicle despite late-night arrival at airport. Vehicle was as expected, super clean and smelled so fresh. No issues with the vehicle and the after-hours return was hassle-free.

Prepaid and because they added fuel charge and extras it was another $25 Thanks for the response below but not worth my time to submit info and maybe get a refund. If you want to fix it then fix it. I have 2 nephews and a sister in providence. Travel there frequently. Used to Uber but realized day rentals are even more convenient. And there are 3 other rental companies within feet of each other.

I rent from Avis fairly frequently. I would be cautious in renting again from Avis in Providence Rhode Island. I rented a 12 passenger van which literally had parts falling off of it inside the vehicle. The right rear quarter panel housing the jack assembly was being held on by caution tape. This 3 foot by 2 foot section of the plastic paneling, literally would not stay in place even with the tape. The tape had lost its elasticity, as well as in its ability to cling to the rest of the interior framework. Same tape was put on the roof apparently in the right rear corner for some other reason. The vehicle shimmied and shook and squeaked in every possible direction as if it had not been properly maintained greased or oiled. Passengers in the vehicle were so concerned, seeing things falling off of the vehicle that they elected not to ride in this one again , unless it was the only one available for transport. Avis could do better.
