This hotel was very pleasant and very convenient. I was in town for the ZZ Top and Lynard Skynard concert at the civic center. It ended up being within walking distance. This is also walking distance of several fast food choices, including Shoney's. Our room was also clean with no smoke smell. That's a plus because many times, I've been told a room is nonsmoking, only to smell smoke upon entering. Customer service was very quick and friendly too. I recommend staying, especially if you're looking for a convenient place for Civic Center events.

We had a group staying there for the recent Coal Show. The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable, and the breakfast was Delicious. However, the best asset that particular hotel has is the General Manager, Patrice Lutz, and her assistant Holly Wills. When you are out of the office, you sometimes need to take care of things. Patrice assisted me with receiving and sending needed documents for a couple of matters. She did that is such a friendly and helpful way. She made me feel like we were old time friends. Her wonderful attitude and personality is shared and it shows with her great staff support.

Located just off of I-64 and I-71, this hotel is well situation to the convention/civic center and a number of walkable restaurants for a quick bite or coffee.
The hotel is updated and clean with friendly staff making check-in/check-out very easy. We did not try breakfast here as we had a coffee shop in mind, but it looked to be a pretty standard continental breakfast with a few hot things.
The room was spacious, good selection of channels on the television and a comfortable couch/lounger in our King room. Bathroom was also clean. In addition, there was an extra blanket and pillow in the room. A small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and microwave rounded out the room. Abundant plugs and built-in USB jacks on either side of the bed and at the desk. The only downside was that one of the USB groups was mounted slightly offset from the outlet cover and was unusable.
Overall, good, quiet stay.
