Terrible Customer Service: My flight landed EARLY and by the time I arrived at the ticket counter they had overbooked and had no cars. My hotel was an hour away and it's a 4 day trip. They offered NO help or compensation. Just that I would have to uber back an HOUR to check if they MAYBE have cars. A rental that cost $150 cost me $115 in Uber and they want me to uber back the next day AND pay for the rental for their mistake, tripling the cost. No comping the rides, no looking for available vehicles at other counters they just wanted me to cancel it so they could be done with it.

Well lets see, truck smelled like cigarette smoke and very very dirty inside with very little trash inside. We were flying into BTR got the truck. While driving to gulf shores for vacation we got pulled over. The tail lights in the truck were out. Called Avis told us we had to go to Pensacola, Florida to trade it out. The next day we cancels our reservations, because we were going to have to drive in the dark. We got told there would be no line and there was a replacement vehicle there for us. We got there, stood in line for 25 minutes for them to tell us they dont have a vehicle for us. We then left. Note we drove over 3 hours to get told they dont have a vehicle. Customer service would not call any locations for us to see if they had a vehicle. They literally made there problem my issue and put our family with a infant in the car in danger. Later that week we got pulled over the second time, for no tail lights. Also our flights got moved and we had to pay another day, in this unsafe vehicle. They literally charged me to rent a vehicle that was broken / very unsafe to drive. This is a horrible way of dealing with your issues / problems and at the end of the day your company doesnt care about your customers.

Despite reserving a car weeks in advance you will have to wait at least 30 minutes or longer for a car. This has been my experience each and every time with this Avis in BR, and to make matters worse, the customer service agents are not friendly.

AEX international airport Avis they have poor customer service skills they were rude they gave me an electric car after the gas car that I rented which was a 2024 Ford Mustang, the air conditioner went out, and I had to return it to AEX the people there didnt ask me if I what type of vehicle I wanted and they ended up giving me an electric car and there is no charge port anywhere is near where I was staying. Because in Alexandria to where I stayed in Jonesville Louisiana, there was nothing there to keep the car charge.. So I waited until I got to Baton Rouge. To leave for my flight there was an accident on the freeway that night and I couldnt get to The charge port to recharge it up I left and went back to my hotel to get off the Freeway. And theyre charging me extra on my card for charges that should never been. So I had a poor experience with Avis and with this electric car. I would never refer a friend, family, member, or anyone to Avis Rent a car. Because people Doesnt care about the people that are renting all their wanting is the money thats the way It looks.
