The people who work here are the only reason i gave it a star period. The cars are nice and are usually available when i make an appointment. The owner/manager is a real piece of work. I was late with the car about three years ago. I was out of town at a very unpleasant doctor's appointment. The lady called me, and i told her i would be in the next day. I did get home that evening after business hours. I woke up to a phone call from John (the manager) demanding that i return the car. I camly explained to him that i was alone and that i would have to wait on someone to get back and that i needed to add more money to the card they would be charging. He told me he wanted his car right now or he would come get it. I explained that i was not trying to steal the car and that i would pay the extra amounts. I also told him if he wanted to come and get it to go right ahead. I did tell him that it wasn't his car and that it belonged to the company. I told him I'd been renting from Avis for a long time, a "vip" card holder, and rented from many different locations and had never encountered such rude accusing behavior. He acted as if i was trying to steal the car. He did not come to retrieve the car. I returned it the next day. I told the lady at the desk that the money would be available that evening or morning, but i wanted to return the car because of the exchange with her manager. I did not know this rude man had placed me on the "Do Not Rent" list until i was out of town and renting a car. I called corporate and was informed that he had placed me there. I explained everything to them, and although i had paid in full, he still did it. They told me the process i had to go through. I told them and i an still.saying it to this day, it is very unfair that after all of the times I've rented in and out of town that one person could put me on such a list. It's very one-sided. He could accuse and peoswxute me without me even having a chance to defend myself. He just said i was guilty and carried out his sentence. Honesty, i don't care about patronizing his business but ALL the other Avis locations as well. That's a crock. I've seen other reviews that read the same. You have to answer to God. We dont just get to do whatever we want and be untouchable. I spoke to corporate, and it will be remedied, but this is most unacceptable. Read the other reviews... Most of them speak of how rude this man is. I believe he should be judged based on his actions on all of these witnesses or "unsatisfied customers."

We had to exchange a vehicle we rented in Dallas. We stopped in and Melissa was able to give us a comparable vehicle and get us on our way within 30 minutes. We appreciate your great customer service Melissa!!
