Hotel Los Gatos

This place is not a 4-star hotel in my opinion. The restaurant attached to the hotel is only open from 5-9pm, and the bar also closes at 9pm (even on Friday and Saturday nights). There is no room service, no breakfast, and its not very close to restaurants or shopping (10-15 minute walk anywhere we went). We booked a King Suite and the room was mediocre and outdated. The hotel has a no smoking policy, but I dont believe it is enforced. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. When we reported it to the front desk, they said they would send housekeeping or maintenance up but as far as I know nothing was done because it was the same our second night and we never heard back from the front desk about it. There were people smoking weed in the lobby and the elevator, and every time we walked through those areas it reeked. I regret staying here and will not be back.

A fantastic place with super comfortable rooms and amenities. I love the small town feeling with all the cafs restaurants and live music but most of all I really like the proximity to some good trails that I could walk to right from the hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Los Gatos! Fabulous Greek Restaurant on premises. Great service, close to everything! Great place to stay when visiting, we recommend to all our friends and family and anyone visiting Los Gatos. Walkability: Close to everything, in walking distance to downtown Los Gatos Food & drinks: Great food from Dio Deka Restaurant!

Beautiful rooms, loved the fireplace and little balcony. No microwave. Nice pastries at the continental breakfast. Quiet and in a nice walkable neighborhood full of higher end shops and resturants. 1/2 of the mattresses was pretty uncomfortable. We were pretty thrown off my reception. It just wasn't very welcoming, nor offering any information about the place (no mention of check out time, breakfast, overview of amenities, no receipt. Basically awkwardly "okay...here's your keys" which was offputing.)

I would not recommend this hotel. The prices look great upon booking, but beware. I was charged a $300 additional fee a few days after my stay. When I first called and asked why there was an extra charge, the employee told me it was just a hold that would be removed. Then, they changed their story and said it was a "smoking fee." Neither the other guest nor I smoked in the room. I have had to call them numerous times and report them to my bank. Save the headache. Go somewhere else.
