Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar Falls - Waterloo, an IHG Hotel

Tom was super friendly and helpful to our group. Rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Only downfall was the elevators were slow.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar Falls - Waterloo and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a convenient layout. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, with a walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, always willing to help with any requests or questions. The breakfast buffet was simple but satisfying, with a variety of hot and cold options. However, the rooms were showing some signs of wear and tear, and could benefit from a renovation. The furniture and decor were outdated, and the carpet was starting to show its age. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service. While the rooms may be due for an update, the hotel's strengths outweigh its weaknesses. A solid choice for a comfortable stay in the Cedar Falls - Waterloo area.

Fantastic hotel, very clean rooms.. I was working in the area. And my daughter had been there to visit me. I told her to let the front desk know I needed a late checkout. Which in IHG that means 2:00. She kicked my daughter out while I was at work and said late checkout is 1:00 PM which isn't correct as I'm a member. Very rude lady. I hope she gets demoted to housekeeping and has to scrub toilets. Other than her. Bigger lady, wears glasses. I won't be back to this one. Compliments of your desk clerk. Do better!

The first room was 59 degrees in January, and they moved me to an upgrade. That was nice. But the TV structure was falling off the wall. I informed the front desk. She had little concern since she was working alone and not much she could do.
