They scam you try to get every penny you have & they lie to keep your deposit.. they are not pet friendly

I was charged 250 for 1 night and was never told I was going to get charged that. The bathroom was gross, paint falling off in the bathtub, holes, not much help when it came to the front desk.

After my flight from Newark to New Orleans I needed to find a cheap place to stay and given the location and price La Quinta was the best option. The hotel is clean and my room was comfortable. The view wasnt great and there was a small crack in the window. There is also no airport shuttle. But on the bright side this place offers free breakfast was good. It wasnt a lot but it was fine.

Breakfast food is yuck and there's no selection. There's always a different smell when you walk in.

I am checking out of this hotel tomorrow. The price of the nightly rates wasnt bad through my Wyndham App but when I got here. I didnt know you had to pay $12 a day for parking through a third party and then the ridiculous $250 security deposit. I have never liked anything near or around this New Orleans area. This place looks decent with nice rooms and very clean but all the extra prices you have to pay on top of your stay. Never again! I cant wait to leave this place due to the expensive extras you have to pay. I travel for a living with my company and this is by far the worst and most expensive hotel and its in such a poverty level nasty area. Do not stay here! Run far from it! You are better off staying in Covington or Slidell and just making the drive across Ponchatrain. Customer service here sucks, and housekeeping never came by to clean my room. As a Platinum Wyndham Rewards member they absolutely need to update their app with all these extra charges they pull on you at the last minute. Staying here has stressed me out financially is all I can say!
