Love this place and will definitely go back! The staff are sooo friendly and helpful!
We stayed for 3 nights. They serve breakfast Saturday & Sunday. Those were two of our mornings. We had breakfast Saturday and enjoyed it so much, we went back Sunday. Elise served us both days and she's the best! Very knowledgeable about Port Hope. She's personable & genuine.
And the chef there is excellent... honestly, everything he makes is quite superb.
Would definitely stay again, do breakfast again!
Stayed in room 5. Spacious & comfortable. Some might find the train noisy but we weren't too bothered.
It's a boutique hotel, the floors creak, windows are hard to open, etc. If you've been to a boutique hotel before... you expect it.
The friendly staff, very clean room & amenities more than make up for it... if you don't like the charm of historic buildings... which we do. It's lovely & interesting.
And Elise, thanks again for booking us the vault room for our dinner. It was lovely. And the food!!! Chef Ray!!! Best dinner ever. Will post details on the restaurant.
