Budget Car Rental

Always been a satisfied customer. The manager & staff are very cordial and professional. I rent at least twice monthly when I come to CT and use the location (Union Station) all the time because I know I will get great service. A special prop for the manager who is very nice and professional.

Beware of this rental location. I recommend to avoid this rental location completely. I had a car rental for a week. While coming back to return the car I had a flat tire. So I changed it with donut tire so that I can return the car. The budget representative at this location is refusing to take the car with donut tire. He wants the flat tire to be fixed by myself so that he will get back the car as how he gave me. I spoke with budget customer service and they told me I can return the car with donut tire for no additional charge. However the budget representative at this location is telling me that he will fix the flat tire at Firestone and will charge me for that repair. Also after taking the receipt I noticed that I got a sedan car (Nissan Sentra) for the charge of intermediate SUV. One more thing- my kid sat on the car with glittery dress and had some glittery on the car seat and he wants to charge $450 cleaning fee for very minor glitter on the car seat. (I did vacuum it and he was OK with it) I havent faced these issues with any of the car rental before. Please be aware of this Avis/Budget location. I strongly recommend to avoid this location for renting a car.

The car rental wasnt what I wanted but the staff was courteous and helpful. The car was clean and in good condition.

Friendly staff, conditions were well explained, short ways, easy to find and a good car for a really good price (Ford Explorer, 17.000 mi). I would always be willing to book with Budget again. Many thanks.
