        I have come all the way from Australia to cash a cheque that my Dad received from Wells Fargo when he was forced to close his account because he doesn't have a US address. No bank in Australia will cash a cheque from overseas and I'm 100% sure Wells Fargo knew this when they sent it. I went into a branch yesterday with his passport, a letter of authorisation from him and the cheque and was told my Dad has to be present to cash the cheque. He is 92 and in poor health. This is a joke and it's not Wells Fargo's money...it's my Dad's. How can this even be legal? How can they think sending a cheque is OK when we can't do anything with it? And how much money are they holding that people will never be able to access? We can't be the only ones. Anyone else out there? I am disgusted and I propose a class action.
