Wow, where do I begin? I'm a Hertz Gold Member. (1)When I booked my rental, the pick-up address was WALTHAM EMBASSY SUITES however, you had several people "call in" so I was redirected to another hotel in NEWTON to do the pick-up instead. While this was out of my way, I didn't mind. This is where things really get bad...(2)You only had one person working that night at this alternate pick-up location and I had to wait over 30 minutes! (3)While Orlando was friendly and quick, the rental that I received was extremely dirty inside AND out. (4)The vehicle had less than half a tank during pick-up as well. (5)I had to inform Orlando that I cannot accept a half-tank pick-up because I had pre-paid for a full tank of gas on my return. (6)*I* had to drive the vehicle to a local gas station with Orlando to do a fill-up. Again, *I* had to drive it to fill it up upon pick-up! (7)I also told Orlando that I would take the car immediately to the car wash and would pay for both an exterior and interior cleaning --- again, the car was FILTHY!!! (8)When I returned the car 2 hours early (around 10am) on Dec 24th at the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, YOUR representative failed to close out my contract while ensuring me that she would close it out immediately. (9)For two days (Christmas and after Christmas) I was billed for additional days!!! (10)I was also receiving calls from your "vehicle recovery" call center demanding I return the vehicle that I had already returned TWO DAYS AGO!!! (11)I had to call your customer service several times to correct and remove the 2 extra day rental charges as well and request an UPDATED receipt to properly reflect my rental charges. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had renting a car.
